Terms of Service

NursingEdAI is a service of JPL Group & Cattle LLC.

By accessing or using NursingEdAI ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

1. Description of Service

NursingEdAI is an AI-powered content generation platform designed for nursing educators. The Service allows users to generate educational materials including quizzes, practice questions, case studies, slide decks, and other learning content.

2. Eligibility

The Service is intended for nursing faculty, educators, and healthcare professionals. By using the Service, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

3. Account Registration

To access the Service, you must create an account by providing accurate and complete information. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

4. Subscription and Payment

4.1 Pricing

  • Free Trial: 14-day full access, no credit card required
  • Monthly Subscription: $25 per month
  • Semester Subscription: $99 per semester (approximately 4 months)
  • Annual Subscription: $250 per year

4.2 Billing

Subscriptions are billed in advance. Payment is processed securely through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

4.3 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial periods.

4.4 Price Changes

We reserve the right to change subscription prices. Existing subscribers will be notified at least 30 days before any price increase takes effect.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

  • Use the Service to generate content that is false, misleading, or clinically dangerous
  • Share your account credentials with others
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or replicate the Service
  • Use the Service to compete directly with NursingEdAI
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of any original materials you upload to the Service (e.g., lecture notes, course materials). You grant us a limited license to process these materials solely to provide the Service.

6.2 Generated Content

Content generated by the Service is provided for your use in educational settings. You may use, modify, and distribute generated content in your courses and educational materials.

6.3 Our Property

The Service, including its software, design, prompts, and underlying technology, is owned by JPL Group & Cattle LLC. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Service itself.

7. Clinical and Educational Disclaimer

IMPORTANT: Content generated by NursingEdAI is intended as a starting point for educational materials. You are responsible for:

  • Reviewing all generated content for accuracy
  • Verifying clinical information against current evidence-based guidelines
  • Ensuring content is appropriate for your students and educational context
  • Making necessary modifications before use

NursingEdAI does not guarantee the clinical accuracy of generated content. The Service is not a substitute for professional judgment.

8. Privacy

Your use of the Service is subject to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

  • The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding any claim

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless JPL Group & Cattle LLC from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason with reasonable notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to conflict of law principles.

14. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Pennsylvania, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in court for intellectual property violations.
