NursingEdAI is a service of JPL Group & Cattle LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use NursingEdAI ("the Service").

  • Institution/affiliation (optional)
  • Password (stored securely using encryption)

When you use the Service, we collect:

  • Content generation requests (topics, academic levels)
  • Generated content and outputs
  • Usage statistics (number of generations, feature usage)
  • Session information and login timestamps

1.3 Payment Information

When you subscribe, our payment processor (Stripe) collects:

  • Credit card or payment method details
  • Billing address

We do not store your full credit card number on our servers. Payment processing is handled securely by Stripe.

1.4 Uploaded Materials

When you upload course materials for context, we temporarily process:

  • Lecture notes, slides, or documents you provide
  • This content is used only to improve content generation

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide and improve the Service
  • Process your subscription payments
  • Send account-related communications
  • Respond to support requests
  • Analyze usage patterns to improve features
  • Ensure security and prevent fraud

We do NOT:

  • Sell your personal information to third parties
  • Use your uploaded materials to train AI models
  • Share your information for marketing purposes without consent

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate NursingEdAI:

  • Your prompts and generated content are processed according to Anthropic's API terms

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your information:

  • Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS)
  • Secure password hashing
  • Access controls and authentication
  • Regular security reviews

However, no system is completely secure. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

5. Data Retention

  • Account data: Retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period after deletion
  • Generated content: Retained for service improvement; you may request deletion
  • Payment records: Retained as required for tax and legal compliance
  • Usage logs: Retained for up to 12 months for analytics

  • Delete your account and associated data

7. FERPA Considerations

NursingEdAI is designed for faculty use in creating educational materials. The Service does not directly access or store student education records. However:

  • Do not upload materials containing personally identifiable student information
  • Generated content should be reviewed before sharing with students
  • You are responsible for compliance with your institution's FERPA policies

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

9. California Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):

  • Right to know what personal information we collect
  • Right to delete personal information
  • Right to opt out of sale of personal information (we do not sell personal information)
  • Right to non-discrimination for exercising your rights

10. International Users

The Service is operated from the United States. If you access the Service from outside the US, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Material changes will be communicated via email or through the Service. The "Effective Date" at the top indicates when the policy was last revised.
