For NP & PA Students
Practice patient interviews
before they count
Voice2VoiceSim gives NP and PA students a private space to practice real-time voice interviews with AI patients — no instructor, no scheduling, no judgment. Interview. Document. Get feedback. Repeat.
120-day access · all patient scenarios · no instructor required

How it works
Choose a scenario
Select a patient presenting with a symptom — chest discomfort, shortness of breath, abdominal pain, and more across acute care, cardiology, and primary care settings.
Conduct the interview
Speak naturally with the AI patient through your microphone. Ask questions, follow up on symptoms, and gather the history you need — just like you would with a real patient.
Document and get feedback
Write your clinical note from memory — no looking back at the transcript. Then receive written feedback on your strengths and areas for growth, plus the full interview transcript to review.
Built for advanced practice students
Voice2VoiceSim is designed for NP and PA students preparing for clinical rotations — not NCLEX prep, not undergrad simulations.
Real voice, not typing
You speak, the AI patient speaks back. This is the closest thing to a real clinical encounter short of an actual patient — and you can do it from home at midnight before a clinical day.
Documentation from memory
After the interview, the transcript is hidden. You write your note from memory — building exactly the skill you'll need in the exam room, where you can't scroll back through a chat log.
Qualitative, not numeric
You don't get a score out of 100. You get written feedback that tells you what you did well and what you missed — the kind of formative feedback that actually improves your practice.
Private and independent
Individual purchases are completely private. No faculty, no program — just you practicing on your own time. Your results are never shared with instructors unless you specifically enrolled through a class.
Who uses Voice2VoiceSim?
Advanced practice students across specialties use Voice2VoiceSim to build confidence before clinical encounters.
Nurse Practitioner (NP) students
FNP, ACNP, AGNP, and PMHNP students preparing for clinical practica or board exams. Practice the comprehensive history-taking that faculty and preceptors expect.
Physician Assistant (PA) students
PA students in didactic or clinical year who want more repetitions than a simulation lab can provide. Each scenario can be repeated — practice the same case until you know you've got it.
Built by a clinician and educator
Voice2VoiceSim was created by Paul Logan, PhD, CRNP — AG-ACNP Program Director at Saint Joseph's University, with an active clinical practice at WellSpan Cardiology. Paul graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 1994 as one of the first acute care nurse practitioners in the United States. Every scenario, every competency rubric, and every piece of feedback logic reflects 30+ years of clinical experience and NP education.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need to be in a course to use this?
No. Individual students can purchase access directly for $50 per semester without any instructor or course enrollment. If your instructor has assigned Voice2VoiceSim, use the access code they gave you instead.
What kinds of scenarios are available?
Scenarios are built around common presenting symptoms across acute care, cardiology, and primary care settings — things like chest discomfort, shortness of breath, and abdominal pain. Each AI patient has a unique history and personality, so the interview unfolds differently each time.
Will my instructor see my results?
No. Individual purchases are completely private. Faculty can only view results for students enrolled through their class with an access code. If you paid on your own, your results stay with you.
What feedback will I get?
After writing your clinical note, you'll receive written qualitative feedback — strengths, areas for growth, and overall competency level. You'll also get the full transcript of the voice interview so you can see exactly what you asked and what the patient said.
How is this different from Shadow Health or i-Human?
Voice2VoiceSim uses real-time voice — you speak and the patient speaks back. It's designed for advanced practice students (NP and PA level) focusing on clinical reasoning and communication, not undergraduate NCLEX prep. Feedback is qualitative, not a numeric percentage score.
What do I need to get started?
A laptop or desktop computer with a working microphone and a modern browser (Chrome or Edge recommended). Voice2VoiceSim does not work well on phones — the voice interface needs a full-screen desktop environment.
